Surfing Turtle Lodge is a beachfront, off-the-grid, eco-friendly hostel situated along a secluded beach on Los Brasiles Island, Poneloya. Close to the historic city of Leon, in Nicaragua’s North Pacific coast. We offer our guests the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and to refresh in an isolated island setting. Enjoy prime views of Nicaragua’s ocean and beach sunsets to the west, and volcanoes and sunrises to the east. The hostel strikes the perfect balance for everyone – you can chill out while enjoying the island’s natural beauty or surf, play beach volleyball, sit at our “Swing Bar” and lounge for a few cocktails. It’s what vacation is meant to be – sun, sand, nature, bonfires, total relaxation – either on your own or with like-minded travelers who have also ventured outside the tourist trail to find paradise.
