Surfing Turtle Lodge is the only Island solar powered hostel (hostal) in Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast.  Located 20 minutes from the historic city of Leon, Nicaragua, and a 5 minute boat ride from the beach town of Poneloya on a beautiful deserted beach in Isla Los Brasiles.  The Lodge strikes the perfect balance for everyone: Enjoy the island’s natural beauty while having comfortable, accommodations and services.

The hostel provides activities for everyone. Rent a surfboard, take lessons and be riding the waves surfing in no time, or venture out on the island and visit it’s many beauties. Relax on a hammock and enjoy the sounds of the waves or do yoga by the shore. Visit our restaurant and taste delicious, freshly prepared food, or sit by the bar and enjoy our many tasty drinks.
